Takeover, Shmakeover

Takeover, ShmakeoverIMHO that whole concept at the present time is moot.  No one in his right mind would want to be dealing with a takeover presently while share prices are so low.  A much higher share price would be the time to start considering being swallowed by a bigger fish.  I don't think that this is of concern at the moment.  Perhaps management has had inquisitive discussions with other industry representatives but I don't feel they had anything remotely resembling concrete negotiations.

Kinross seems to be the goldminer's Pacman of the last few years.  Those guys are eating everything in sight and it may seem overdone to many but I think those guys are smart as heck.  In a few years those acquisitions are going to pay off in spades.  Some think it reckless I deem it very accretive over the long haul.  I hold no C warrants but have followed them closely for quite some time - at 50 cents they may be the best buy ever.

MTO's share price seems to be spinning in the mud of late but this type of behavior is completely normal for explorer/producers making that difficult transition to producer status much like the metamorphosis of caterpillar to butterfly.  We are such an impatient bunch here.  Management has the same goals as us and DO HOLD shares.  He who says management has no shares is ill informed or is intentionally misleading posters.
