The consolation is $18.40 is not bad, because over the
last 16 months, the total amount of MFC shares
traded under $19.00 is about 37% out of the total number of outstanding shares.
This 37% is made up of daytraders, shares crossing over, etc.
Therefore the actual amout of sell-off under $19.00 is only a small percentage.
MFC was Bill Carrigan top pick last night on market call tonight.
Can someone explain, why MFC had to write off $1.5B on Bond interest rate re mark to market CGAAP?
because there is no way they can lose money investing in Bonds
