RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Thoughts on PR

RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Thoughts on PRThe cementing referred to in the pr refers to cement that is pumped down the casing and flows back up the annulus created by the casing OD and borehole wall.

if the well is going to  P&A'd (plugged and abandoned) they would then set a "cement plug."

In the "bovine scatology" department, the surface casing is not production casing.  And yes, by running a production casing in the well and talking about "testing the zone," it indicates by implication that there is some producible oil.  Hopefully.  But no reference is made to the logs other than to say they "found the zone" they were looking for.  From the logs they should be able to calculate "Sw" (water stauration) and "So" (oil saturation) by using Archie's equation.  This could have been safely reported in the pr.  This is not a wildcat, there is no reason for secrecy.  It is not even the first well in this field.

REV management has a huge historical credibility gap to bridge.  They need to publish all the truthful information that is available to bridge that gap.  My gut tells me that if they didn't say it, there's a reason they didn't say it.  It's called "they can't say it."  They were called on the carpet several years ago for publishing "specious information."  As I understand it, the TSX-V exchange monitors their pr's very closely.  And rightly so.

I'm still remembering when this deal was first announced, one of the REV board members was listed at the partner down in Louisiana.  It was quickly changed at the last minute.  So how real is all this stuff anyway?

I still kinda sorta don't trust REV.  But what the hay?  Let's hope for the best.

If you believe in REV, then everybody clap their hands for 5 minutes at 355 PM EDT (255 PM CDT).  Maybe we can bring Tinkerbell back to life.

Good weekend folks.
