RE: Risk

RE: RiskSome points are valid Brnt..but a few are bit off.

There is huge potential in the toasted meal licenses but realistically speaking how soon would revenue be generated. These toasted meal plants would first have to construct facilities and its probably two years before they would be producing protein.

This is absolutely not true.  The beauty of the toasted meal to concentrate is that it is a back of line addition and not something that requires a build out.  An existing plant would just retro fit some equipment and they'd be ready to roll.  Definately not a construction project.

With regards to past equalling the future I think that too may be a bit off base.  The whole point of failure is to learn from it.  I would trust an executive far more if has gone bankrupt once. (if he has twice..then probably not so much!)  Bankrupcy (though I've never experienced it) is a very humbling thing in business because it sometimes a combination of being overly confident and not executing to plan.  Has BXI had any of these issues?  Yes but this is a much bigger TEAM effort.  All businesses are a team effort and all ventures can fail for a number of reasons.
Green MDF and Protien Isolates while both being new technologies are a world apart.  Canola Protien Isolates are a disruptive technology that competitors are salivating over.  If BXI runs into more problems they will have to partner with a big company as a last result but you can bet the bank that they just don't go bankrupt.  NO RISK OF THAT IMO.
Too much money to be made.  The company has 30 million working capital now.  You are concerned about getting the protien isolate business online??   Really?  It is a done deal.  Protien will flowing on a continuous basis in less than 8 weeks.  They are discussing and now planning to have someone else build MINOT.  That is a lesson.  They know that it is better to pay a bit more but to leave the heavy lifting to the pros.  Don't build your own home effectively.

In conclusion, I respect your conservative nature regarding BXI and any investment.  I do, however, feel that you are being a tad over critical especially since you continue to hold BXI through it all.  In your gut I think you know you are going to make a killing here but there is a shadow of doubt and it eats at you as it does on most of us.  I think the best bet here with BXI is to give them until the end of the year to show what they got.  If they can't bring it to market?  Take cover.  Perhaps reduce your position to just a taste.

Continued success to all of you,

Atheena
