In July, 2009 the share price was $1.39. A little over a year later it is approaching $5.00. I think the chart is instructive for VTR holders because this company also was in the process of feasibility studies and initial phases of mine development a little over a year ago. The chart for a company this size and at this stage in its development is not going to be a smooth escalator up. If you were a holder of NSU over the past year it would have been a thrilling roller coaster ride with many points where you might have wished you had sold. Just looking at the chart, not knowing the underlying news, I do not know how you could possibly navigate this volatility with short term trading in and out. But clearly if you believed in the company and the story and held on for the year you would have experienced tremendous gains in your portfolio.
