I think B/V will tell you what a company is worth today.
Growth value is speculating what the cash flow will be in the future.
Unfortunately because of the mark to market reporting the growth speculation of MFC
has been baked in to its book valuation.
Still with all these write-offs, MFC has only lost $1.41 in three years.
Price dropping over $30.00 is over-kill for this small drop in B/V
The way the game is played, groups of big Institutional Investors, are selling off
their own shares and buying them back cheaper.
So this stock can still go lower, so if you want to take that chance to get it cheaper
....wait.
