Facts
-Pixon is a private company and is not required to make any announcements pertaining to a takeover by Empower or anyone else. As far as I'm aware they have never made an announcement about Empower.
-Empower is continuing to provide engineering services for Pixon.
-Pixon has been trying to raise money in the US but given the investment climate, they have not been successful and are tied to Empower to proceed with their projects.
-It is conceivable that Pixon will, in the future, be in a position to carry on alone but they will still need Empower's technology to fill their requirements. In other words, Empower will get cash flow either way. The difference will be margin.
-Pixon has been posting hiring notices for a number of months. Does it mean that they are cash flow positive? Contracting Empower for engineering services means that they are paying their own buyout.
-Empower will be posting their 2nd quarter numbers by monthend and should provide some indicator of what's happening.
-Empower has money in the bank from the last round of financing. It should be obvious to all that it is not being used to pay directors' salaries. It will be used to fill orders, provide new engineering services and/or complete the Pixon transaction. The management will make that call.
-no one is happy with the share price, but with average volume of 10000 shares or $1500 per day, its hard to get too excited as an order for $20,000 or so would likely drive up the price substantially. Institutional investors will make their decisions based upon results. A couple of hundred retail investors wont effect their thinking. If the results show a direction towards profitability, there will be interest from some technologies funds.
-Whether agreements signed with other groups bear fruit is anyones guess, but it appears that Inflight and Pixon are solid. Empower has provided kits throughout North America. Whos knows what may be over the horizon?
-Obviously any number of scenarios could play out. I've made my call by purchasing more stock, but that is based on my own interpretation of the facts.
-Some on this board seem afraid to call the company and ask their own questions. How can any of you make informed opinions without spending a dime to call and learn the FACTS?
