From Cancen Website:

Cancen has significantly expanded the waste fluids that it can currently accept at its New

Sarepta Disposal Facility

The Cancen New Sarepta Disposal Facility can now accept “Alberta Generated Non-Hazardous

Waste (Non – Oilfield) waste. This is a major step forward for The Cancen New Sarepta Facility

and allows Cancen to approach generators of waste fluids outside of the Oil Industry.

Cancen New Sarepta Disposal well was approved for only Alberta Generated Oilfield waste;

this expansion of the acceptable fluids at this facility is a major improvement at this facility. In

May, Cancen and Wescorp Energy Inc. installed the first commercial H20 Maxx unit at Cancen’s

New Sarepta disposal well. The unit has been integrated into the disposal facility and is now

fully functional.

The H2OMaxx technology has already been proven to clean a wide range of contaminated

produced water ranging from light oil to heavy oil applications. The H2OMaxx has been proven

to be a safe, effective, economical and environmentally friendly process for cleaning and

separating oil and solids from water.

Using Wescorp’s nano-aeration technology, independent test results have shown that

H2OMaxx technology reduces the oil content in produced water to less than 10 parts per million

without the use of chemicals, filters or heat.

Cancen and Wescorp are close to completing a 30 day test to define the upper limits of the H20

Maxx to expand the unit’s capability and applications. Once completed, the third party verified

data will be used to expand the opportunities for Cancen and Wescorp in the Oil sands Market.

The data will also be presented to various government agencies within Western Canada.

“We are very excited about the preliminary results; Cancen has provided Wescorp with varied

waste streams from the Alberta Oil sands, considered to be some of the dirtiest and most

difficult water to clean in the oil industry.

The H2OMaxx Technology has cleaned water to new levels that have contained in excess of

25% oil and 10% solids and has also contained asphaltines and grease. Talbot further

comments the H20 Maxx has demonstrated the ability to efficiently clean water to levels once

thought unattainable with conventional methods, this will propel Cancen into an industry leader

and set new standards in the clean-up and disposal of third party waste”
