China's Icebreakers......

First day at work after the summer vacation.
Not much happening so have been curising
the internet; googled Chinese Icebreaker.
Lot of stuff out there.
In 1999 a Chinese icebreaker sailed into NWT
community of Tucktayuktuk un-announched
looking for nterpetures/transalators.
They are currently building a nucular icebreaker
that will be ready to sail by 2013.
They also requested observer status to the last
Circumpolar Conference which was denied them.
Check it out! Looks like China means business
when it comes to using the North West Passage;
regardless of the Soveregnty games going on in 
Canada's Arctic.
