So if it does affect their bottom line they'll still close it?  NOPE.

Watch and learn, they'll walk from Red Dog as well when they finish mining this extension.

Teck wants to be a coal company, period.

If you are profitting $600 million to a $billion,  Teck will ignore?  NOPE

and your statement about it being important to Kamloops on another forum, implying teck won't leave, is a joke right? Tecks first responsibility is to its shareholders NOT the people of Kamloops.

Very important statement.  Getting approval for "other pits" (possibly HPY's property) will not be or will be a lesser of an issue.
