High close

High closeWhen I worked on the TSE floor, I would occasionally see the trader who was 'running the box' on a stock buy 1 board lot of his stock near the close so that a 'high close' would appear in the paper.
I notice that some RBC trader/client did exactly that today - 500 @ .49...after 3 hours of no trades.
Just mentioning it.
