Airbus, Boeing and Embraer in a no win situation

Airbus, Boeing and Embraer in a no win situationThere is no logic for all 3 manufacturers,  Airbus, Boeing and Embraer, to commit themselves individually to spend wasted money to re-engine existing aircraft.  Collectively, the $billions of  dollars plus to redesign wings, fuselage, and engine mounting will end up as a bad decision to sell their aircraft especially when the  "C" series Bombardier aircraft is a completely redesigned fuel efficient aircraft, with reductions in maintenance costs.

Airbus, Boeing and Embraer will be cutting their own throats with re-engineering.  It is like saying their old aircraft are out dated in overall operating costs.  After all they are in competition with one another and it will be next to impossible to duplicate the  "C" performance and be competitive amongst themselves ( Airbus, Boeing and Embraer).  One or all of them will loose future sales over their attempt to compete with the "C" series Bombardier aircrafts.

Airbus, Boeing and Embraer are in a no win situation.  By the way, this has been  own personal opinion.
