As I understand it, ADM has 30 days after GRAS notification to commit to a production and royalty agreement with BU over the canola proteins. If no commitment is in place from ADM, Burcon is free to seek agreements on the canola proteins with whomever they please, once ADM is reimbursed for some expenses. At that point any and all obligations and rights jointly between them cease to exist.
