RE: Hold Your Powder
RE: Hold Your PowderJim, I truly respect your opinion. You always have credible input and knowledge.
However, being a former mine owner. I wish to point out one thing, at first I was very optimistic to see this met property on their radar. However, this is some of the toughest mining in the Southeast.
My thoughts are if the Alabama property is so good, why are they not mining 3 shifts? This seems like a company that is trying to finance existing coal operations by purchasing other properties rather than on merits.
That is a scary prospect.
If I owned the Alabama mine, I would have spent all my money on increasing production. Not issuing options to buy lesser deals.
That property has been sitting in Georgia for over 50 years waiting on the market or another sucker. With Met Coal being so in demand, why hasnt anyone else snapped it up?
Food for thought.
My final comment is, this company is owned by bankers. If they will not spend money on producing assets, then why are they trying to buy non producing assets.
Just my thoughts and opinions. I am long and strong on this company, but I may blow my brains out.
