buba..what a post!

buba..what a post!Thank you for it!
Take some advice (I will as well) from buba.  Notice how his thought process or line of reasoning is not interupted by the burtards?  He just soldiers on with FACTS and ignores the stupidity.  I will adopt that line approach as it is the most levelheaded and mature.

Regardless of what has been said by pumpers or bashers BXI soldiers ahead growing month over month in SP.
There is no discussion to make regarding BU or BXI as this market is in desperate need of more vegetarian low cost protein sources and both companies claim to have just that.

Here is the reality.  BU hasn't "proved" anything other than in a lab.  BXI has proven their technology and will have final proof that they can do it continuously in their Sask plant in a few weeks.  BU uses HEXANE which everyone knows is a petrochemical and not the best way to extract isolates.  BXI uses a NON toxic patented method that does it at LOW TEMPERATURE.  In the end both companies if successful will profit well.  The elephant in the room however, is why people are so nervous.  If BXI's method is cleaner and cheaper to make then BU has to wonder why ADM would want to get in bed with them for their CANOLA products.  I'd think that the Clarisoy would be the reason...and perhaps some of the other not stated patents that could be very valueable.
IF BXI has the goods and we will soon see (less than 6 weeks now) then they will also have the premium product in the canola sector and the first to market advantage.  That can't be disputed.
Now for your business lesson (those of you who are full of doubt)....first to market advantage is HUGE.
Superior technology that is considered "green" is HUGE.
What matters here is the ability to take market cap to the highest level BEFORE a smart multinational corporation takes you out.  This type of technology doesn't usually get to develop from the original source.  There will be TONS of pressure from the very competitive multinationals to get their hands on this technology.  ADM has covered their bases for now by getting a very inexpensive relationship with BU.  They were smart and so was BU.  Security is very important.  The important thing to remember is that BXI is holding the gun here.  They are able to negotiate with everyone.  That will get them the highest bidder.  ADM is ONLY ONE company..a huge one...but only one.  They don't have to negotiate as they already did when the tech wasn't proven...thus getting in VERY CHEAP.
BXI had to prove their process and pay for it.  WAY MORE RISK = WAY MORE PROFIT.

I wish both companies much success and I hope that everyone makes a killing.
I fully expect BXI investors (and really...me) to make out like bandits.
$5 by March 2011....and $10+ by 2012.

Go BXI!
