You may be right. What an incredibly curious anatomy of share price movement that makes very little sense.

Does anyone have a good read or analysis of how and why this occurs?

I can only call this a herd mentality and why momentum stocks are the only way to play very short term if that is your game...and it looks like momentum is building.
