RE: Hole 4
RE: Hole 4Chris you make some good points. Still all is not lost, but things aren't what we were being led to believe anymore.
Need better results, period. If Hole #5 turns out to be the same as Hole #4 then we have a problem.
Read tradingchief and see what Dennis has to say. I think his post is spot on and pretty much tells it like it is. All is not lost, but the risks and costs just got bigger. Hope Dennis doesn't mind me reposting his post here, but I think it makes more sense than many posts I've read in the past couple days here. GLTA

#70082 - Re: Post on AAA last hole
I don't think anyone is misinterpreting the results at all. The stuff we have that is 43-101 is near surface so, open pit. What would have been a good result, is a continuing near surface strike that would have kept us doing open pit.
What everyone expected was a hit, we got it. On a scale of good vs bad, the only consideration was depth, and as far as depth is concerned it was not anywhere near as good as finding it at 100m.
2nd issue is if you are now deep drilling for every hole then it will take longer to prove up the additional resource. So if they had hit near surface then we would be drilling 300m holes instead of 700-800m holes.
No one is misinterpreting the shortterm impact nor the longterm. Longterm the resource will grow, thats good. Shortterm the costs per hole just doubled, thats not good.
