Sober Thought?I do not wish to trash anyone's post here, we are all on the same team. I have 100,000 shares of Galway and am selling none of them, along with 32,000 shares of Greystar notwithstanding the popularity of Ventana. We will all do very well in the long run but I think we are getting ahead of ourselves. The class act of our exploration area is indeed Greystar albeit with the Paramo implications which should disappear soon.
Greystar has over 900 drill holes, over 300,000 meters of drilling. Galway has what, 40 drill holes? Ventana has drilled only 25% of the Greystar activity. Although low grade with numerous high grade holes, Greystar has confirmed and implied reserves of 15 million ounces. We need to be very careful in throwing out reserves estimates no matter how hard we worked to create them. We do not have all the facts and throwing around figures like 5 million ounces of reserves can mislead a lot of people. There are $10 to $15 stocks out there that do not have that much in reserves. That is a lot of smack! I do not believe we have reserves anywhere near 5 million ounces at this time but it is attainable.
I have confidence in Galway management, but we need to be patient. We do not need to be worried about a cheap sellout on a takeover, A hint of a takeout and we will triple, plus we have the shareholders rights backup.
