New Gold (NGD : TSX | NGD : AMEX | BUY): Site visit highlights good progress at New

Afton; Target increased to $8.50 from $7.75

The positive progress on development at the New Afton project has led us to improve

our corporate NAV estimate by 9% by lowering our ascribed discount rate on New Afton

to 7.5% from 10% and revising our capex, production, and recovery assumptions. We

maintain our BUY rating based on relative valuation, re-rating potential (on resolution of

CSP permitting issues), expected stronger H2/10 operating performance at CSP and Peak

Mines, and expected year-end reserve increases (particularly at Mesquite).
