Just spoke with President Chris CollinsI just got off the phone with Chris Collins, President of Apogee Minerals. I of course him asked about how we are going to finance bringing Pulacaya into production. He said they are looking at a number possible options such as private far east investors, JV's, or possibly a mix of debt or equity. He did seem adament about preventing dilution, so i think private investment or JV more likely.
He did mention that the deposit is roughly 1/2 silver, 1/4 zinc and 1/4 lead, and that it may be the zinc and lead that attract financing.
When I said I thought that valuing APE.VN at 1.00 should put it at around its peers valuation he agreed.
He also said that the political risks are way overblown and that existing mining rights in Bolivia are protected by its constitution.
Personally I think seeing .30 to .50 cents soon is not unreasonable. Getting financing would be huge and would take this well past a buck. I cannot believe this is trading at .15 cents. They have 150Moz Ag equivalent Ni 43-101 resources and a positive PEA on Pulacaya that is close to infrastructure and low cost open pit, yet market cap is only 16M.
