Looking back at everything that we know today, how does this one sound to you. This is only my opinion.

Yes there was a leak that Endo was going to have a news release yesterday, and that an aquisition was being anounced. People assumed it was BNC and started to pile in. BNC sees this and put in notice of NR to create a halt believing that the market was responding to a false alarm. BNC waited until the end of the day for their NR to allow Endo to release it's news. Trading gets restored the next day with the real news anounced. A bit of volitility occurs but very minor damage by days end.

If this was the case then maybe the halt was a good thing. Yes I would have loved to have seen $2 or more, but after the real news hit, we could have experienced a real bad downer.
