I almost tend to agree. They either lied or they were really that naive/dumb. Lying requires a level of intelligence and cunning that I'm not sure the senior management is capable of so I guess I would lean toward them being totally naive.

Having said that, when Dr Sokol walked in the building I believe the average IQ went up.
