Oncolytics Biotech Inc T.ONC

Alternate Symbol(s):  ONCY

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Company is focused on developing pelareorep, an intravenously delivered immunotherapeutic agent that activates the innate and adaptive immune systems and weakens tumor defense mechanisms. This compound induces anti-cancer immune responses and promotes an inflamed tumor phenotype turning cold tumors hot through innate and adaptive immune responses to treat a variety of cancers. This improves the ability of the immune system to fight cancer, making tumors more susceptible to a broad range of oncology treatments. The Company’s primary focus is to advance its programs in hormone receptor-positive / human epidermal growth factor 2- negative (HR+/HER2-) metastatic breast cancer and advanced/metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma to registration-enabling clinical studies. In addition, it is exploring opportunities for registrational programs in other gastrointestinal cancers through its GOBLET platform study.

RE: RE: RE: “MONSTER” - Gemini

RE: RE: RE: “MONSTER” - GeminiOne of the reasons I got out of mutual funds years ago while not a primary one, was that I noticed in the prospectus of some of them that various funds in the "family of funds" would hold various amounts of shares  of the same stock even though the names of the funds might bear little relation. After comparing consecutive prospectus I got the impression the mutual fund company  was moving shares around amongst the various funds to help out a poor performer or to reduce the amount in one fund if it was excessive. I thought if I was right that it would be misleading to investors and could reduce the return to investors in a particular fund if a "winner stock" was moved out to help one of their poorer performing funds. That's what I thought the main purpose of the excersize was. When you say that the excess is "parked" in another fund do you mean that could be what I was noticing at least partly and for the purpose you state?
