A few interesting highlights from my rough notes;

Trends in Cdn PP that are impacting revs

Cdn lower revs because of

  1. recession has had a big impact.Still a long way to 18 months ago
  2. Subscriber trends.More data less voice.As people shift toward data.Smart phones make people switch to contracts.
  3. New entrants deferred purchasing decisions.Wait until PP side develops to buy a smart phone.

Telus and Rogers:PP subscriber growth is down.Lower revs in PP thru the industry

VSI Objectives


  1. Increase license revenues

Nigeria SaaS processed15 Million transactions 2 weeks ago.This was triple the normal transactions,a #of factors are coming together.Customer learning is kicking in, lots of hand-holding thru the launches.New products and distribution locations.

S Africa has been successfully connecting terminals to test servers in Canada.

Discussions underway in countries in the region

  1. Launch e-Fresh new markets

Introin Brazil:Incorporated, hired several key employees, contact with all major telcos, office space.3pillars, building all: 1) supply w/ telcos2. operations (server/acctg)3)distribution

Servers: got up a small server early on for testing,In process of completing the live server setup, should be done in a few weeks.Next stage, getting product to sell.4 main carriers, all about 40MM PP customers.Team in discussion with all major carriers.Investing about $40-50,000/mo.

  1. Increase # of transactions per terminalin NA

Launching bill payment now, in US before end of Oct.Completes product mix in US

4.Broaden E-Fresh platform

Lottery product, only in use inChina, user selects numbers at terminal.Get more experience in China, how can we bring it to other countries.

More functionality to EFresh, Mobile for Nokia and BB can be sold thru Bluetooth printer connected to belt prints out product.

Continuous micro updates for all customers.
