RE: I knew it ......Bound to happenBravo Gonecode,

You are probably from the Quebec province or elsewhere in Canada to read the tea leaves so well?  I am living near these future or existing exploration wells.  The gas industry people came here thinking they could just test wells WITHOUT INFORMING THE PUBLIC and now they are getting the poulation on their back.   Make no mistake, shale gas is a very hot potato in Quebec right now and gaining momentum,  public opinion has turned against the industry.  There will be delays (moratorium) for over a year before anything goes any further.

The ex-president of Hydro-Quebec is the spokeperson for the industry in Quebec ( he was also the president of Gas Metro after Hydro-Quebec!) and had to leave the last assembly for over an hour last week in Saint-Hyacinthe, awaiting police protection (SQ) until he came back in the room to try to convince the opposants in the room.

This is dead money for a while, I would even say a long while. IMHO.
