RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Poor JimOpen pit mining can get by with low grades. There has to be a lot ore to mine, and strip ratio needs to be low.  They had a preliminary study done in 2006 or 2007. They claimed it was profitable at $1000 gold with the proven that had been found to that time.

Like Downer pointed out, will they ever put this property into production ?

JC has better grades, but it is underground mining. The recovery is not all that good. And they need an ore mix from outside JC to make mill/roaster efficient. Yet still the only chance of a profitable property.

I have not kept real close to the company news. Have they actually mined any new ore since 2008 or just using the stockpile ?
