| Paul Shatzko - Age 75 - President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Mr. Shatzko is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Company. Mr. Shatzko has been the President of Bellevue Oaks (a private company engaged in the thoroughbred racing industry) since August 1998.
He has been a director of New World Resource Corp., which is listed on the Exchange, since June 2002 and a director of Entourage Mining Ltd., which is listed on the OTC:BB, since July 2004. Mr. Shatzko was a Director of Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. from July 1988 to December 2003 which is listed on the TSX from July 1988 to December 2003. He was a director of Mantra Mining Inc. from July 1998 to February 2007, President and a director of Gee-Ten Ventures Inc. from August 1990 to October 2005, a director of Iciena Ventures Inc. from March to May 2005, all of which were listed on the Exchange.
Mr. Shatzko has been a medical doctor since 1960. Mr. Shatzko earned both a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) in 1956 and Doctor of Medicine from the University of British Columbia. He received his certification in radiology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1970. He will spend 75% of his working time on the Company's business. He has not entered into a non-competition or non-disclosure agreement with the Company. Mr. Shatzko is an independent contractor. See "Executive Compensation". Pradeep Varshney - Age 52 - Chief Financial Officer and Director Mr. Varshney is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Varshney is responsible for the financial controls of the Company, including the preparation of financial statements. He has been a self-employed businessman, working the area of accounting, since November, 2003.
He has been the Chief Financial Officer of Entourage Mining Ltd., which is listed on the OTC:BB, since November 2005. He was the Chief Financial Officer of Mountain Province Diamonds Inc., which is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, from July 1998 to August 2003 and the Chief Accounting Officer of Gee-Ten Ventures Inc., which is listed on the Exchange, from October 2004 to September 2006.
Mr. Varshney earned a B.Tech Degree from Banaras Hindu University in India in 1978, a Master of Science Degree (Chemical Engineering) from the University of New Hampshire in 1981 and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1986. He has been a member of the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia since August 2005. He will spend 20% of his working time on the Company's business. He has not entered into a non-competition or non-disclosure agreement with the Company. Mr. Varshney is an independent contractor through RSA Management Services Inc. See "Executive Compensation". Gregory Kennedy - Age 59 - Secretary and Director
Mr. Kennedy is the Secretary of the Company and is responsible for the administration of the Company. Mr. Kennedy has been a self-employed businessman since July 2001.
Mr. Kennedy has been a director and the president of Entourage Mining Ltd., which is listed on the OTC:BB since April 2003. He was a director of Abbastar Holdings Ltd., which is listed on the Exchange, from June 2002 to August 2006, and a director of CanAsia Industries Corporation, which is listed on the Exchange, from December 2001 to June, 2002.
Mr. Kennedy earned his Bachelor of Commerce in 1989 from the University of Alberta. Mr. Kennedy will spend 35% of his working time on the Company's business. He has not entered into a non-competition or non-disclosure agreement with the Company. Mr. Kennedy is an independent contractor. See "Executive Compensation". Erik Ostensoe - Age 70 - Director
Mr. Ostensoe has been a self employed consultant since June 1982. Mr. Ostensoe is responsible for overseeing the geological and exploration affairs of the Company. He earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree from the University of British Columbia in 1960. He was certified as a Professional Geologist from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C. in October 1991 and from the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of the Northwest Territories in August 2008. He will spend 15% of his working time on the Company's business. He has not entered into a non-competition or non-disclosure agreement with the Company.
Michael Barry Hart - Age 62 - Director
Mr. Hart has been a self-employed consultant since March 2004. Mr. Hart is an independent director on the Audit Committee of the Company. He has been the President and a director of AMG Oil Ltd., which is listed on the OTC:BB, since December 1999 and the Secretary of Entourage Mining Ltd., which is listed on the OTC:BB, since September 2004. He has been a director of Trans Orient Petroleum Ltd., which is listed on the Exchange and the OTC:BB, since December 1999.
Mr. Hart will spend 10% of his working time on the Company's business. He has not entered into a non-competition or non-disclosure agreement with the Company
