There's enough going on down there to really contradict the pessimism. At the very least take a look at the Sep 2010 presentation.

https://www.clinemining.com/projects/pdf/new-elk-presentation.pdf

If you don't believe the info the company makes available on the website then definitely stay away from the stock.

One key stated date is the rehab of the wash plant slated for mid Nov. So far Cline has been slightly ahead of estimated completion for the opening. Considering the second half of Dec is a write off for most companies as far a project progress goes it seems coal will start moving sometime betweem the third week of Nov and the second week of Dec.

This is the companies stated estimate as of last month. It is getting too close to the date for them to be off by months or even many weeks and still stick to their projections.

I see this as an opportunity that only comes along once every few years. This is not spec exploration.

I too am holding a core and trading an amount I am prepared to miss out on when the stock takes off and if I happen to be out.

Here's a little psychological profiling. Put yourself in KB shoes. He is 80+?? I think. Do you think he wants his epitaph to be as the shukster of a smoke and mirrors scam or as the author of a shrewd investment that he picked off under the radar and parlayed into a top notch producer.

You have to be pretty paranoid to think he has everyone working around him bamboozled and still publicly sticking to Q4 production with no plans or ability to do so.

BTW This is my largest holding by quite a bit. WTN is second.
My best move was buying significant amounts is the
.40's
My worst move was not unloading at $2.70 earlier this year. (out at $1.65 back in at $1.40)

That is where I am coming from.
