I did a quick Google on Gord Brown, who is mentioned in the article, and came up with this (from Wikipedia):

"Prime Minister Stephen Harper chose Brown to Chair the Special Committee that reviewed the Anti-Terrorism Act."

Sounds to me that there may be a connection here to the anti-terror applications of AsepticSure. Hmmmmmh.... JMHO
