The big advantage with  chia surkh field is that we know there is oil and Longford just need to do a couple of  new deeper drillholes to get access to the 132 million barrels of potential ultimate recoverable oil on the field.

To optimize an old field with proven reserves is a lot easier than finding new oil. Longford can kick start it´s Iraq operations and get a good cashflow buy doing this  and then go elephant hunting in the large block.
