Q2 earnings release

Q2 earnings release
Bit of a ho-hum, steady as she goes earnings report.  All the comparisons blow away last year's results (due to last year's  plant shutdown).

$4.1M in Q2 sales, 200% increase over last year, but down slightly from Q1.  Upon reading the MD&A on Sedar, it mentions that management completed Phase 2 of the production capacity increase to 130,000kg "without significant impact on current production".  I will assume the reason for the slight decline in revenues was the impact from the capacity increase efforts.

Interesting to note that the company did consume $1.5M in cash during the quarter, on $300K to the production capacity increase, and a $1.3M increase in accounts receivable and inventories.

There is no doubt that as NTB grows, together with ramping up R&D and clinical trials, it will need some cash to sustain the growth.  Thus the $2.5M private placement.

Sure would be nice if some of these ongoing partnership collaborations start to generate some cash flow.
