RE: Idaho Women Very HelpfulGreat info Joey. I'm not well versed in the claiming process, so hopefully you can explain a couple of things. I always thought if you wanted title to claims, you go to the BLM (or whatever the govt. dept. is called in that particular jurisdiction) and see what land is available, pay your fees and file the paperwork and then it is yours. First come, first serve. Are they saying you go out to unclaimed available land, put in stakes and then the land is yours, as in finders keepers, and then you go to the BLM and formalize it by filing the apperwork and paying the fees? That's kinda wild westish if that's the case.
