discovered in 1909 by Benny Hollinger, was once the richest gold
producer in the Western Hemisphere.

Its total gold production was $400 million,
despite the fact gold was selling for about one-fifty of
its current value.

Glimpse the realities of underground mining,
as well as the hardships and pain of the Northern pioneers
in our own century, working to develop mines and
carve communities out of the wilderness.

Still a lot of gold there.
