We met with EAS president Mike Hawkins last

week in Vancouver and were brought up to date on management’s ongoing work to sort out the structural

controls at Miwah. The interpretation has changed somewhat and the new version is clearly one that

management is far more confident about. A combination of NW trending and EW structures are believed to

have shifted the mineralized zone in several places resulting in a zone centered on Miwah that, roughly

speaking, would trend slightly towards the east in both the north and south direction. The interpretation

does appear to explain a number of nearby geochemical and geophysical anomalies but the proof will be in

the drill holes. With more confidence in the potential geometry we think EAS will soon accelerate the

exploration efforts again. We think this is more significant than today’s drill release and our view that EAS

still has upside even after the outsized gains to date is unchanged.
