Not as bad as it could have been!Looks like the authorities are on CAN's side here and want the matter resolved.

Why wasn't this made known earlier?  Was SOC playing games? 

Even if this amounts to 20% of the claim it would not likely be viable on a stand alone basis.  How will this impact the settlement?

Is SOC enjoying a good working relationship with the Government?  Does it want to be seen as an obstacle?  How will this situation play with respect to their other claims if they're seen as a problem here?

Too much at play for either party to rock the boat.  I would expect the Tanzanian officials will make an equitable ruling and this whole matter will be history.

JMHO

Still holding, plenty of drilling and the new zone mentioned in the previous release.  Still a very positive story.
