RE: RE: Moving West....
Hey, BGraham...

You are on the right track....yes it is very important as to how much waste rock must be removed to access the actual ore, thus...waste to ore strip ratio...how much waste must one remove to get at the ore...very common to have a 4 to 1 ratio...in otherwords you must remove 4 Tonnes of Waste for every 1 Tonne of Ore.  The economics of an Open Pit Operation will vary depending on a number of factors with a major component being the grade of the Deposit.

All drill holes are done on a slant, this is done so that they can get a greater cross section of the lay of the land.

Today's release had a lot of "empty" ground leading to the actual mineralization which was located at a vertical depth of about 400 metres...please note this is just an estimate due to the fact that I do not have the actual drill angle of the holes released...it should be a good estimate.  More details will follow on their website in the next couple of days.

We need much more information to really know what is going on...infill drilling.

As they drill this Discovery further and much later in the program they will begin to get a better picture of the make up of this deposit and can begin to design an Open Pit that will give them access to as much of the Ore as possible.  This is where they will need help as I have mentioned recently...they will have to bring in the financial muscle and experienced personnel to handle a project of this size....it appears that they have discovered a very substantial Large Tonnage, Low Grade Deposit.

They have a few moving parts on this baby....underground development with near term production and an open pit that is getting bigger by the month!

Looks good!
