Quiet Times

Quiet TimesLBE supporters are at a time now, that there's not a lot to discuss on the forums. Bashers have been searching for negatives, they put up some weak point and then jump back in their hole when challenged to support their comments. As for supporters, we have about a month until we get the Q3 results and MD&A giving guidance on the outlook at that time.

One thing we can be assured of, all efforts will be being directed to the priority of moving along on the production goals. Bashing or debate over the details will not change that. In this company we are fortunate in having the transparency that we know exactly what the plan is, how efforts are being directed to achieve the goals, and reasonably frequent updates on progress, and if applicable, setbacks. We expect this kind of businesslike approach and open communication, and that's what we have got since management changed five or so years ago.

Those that have been through the ups and downs over those years appreciate this approach to running the company, but we shouldn't take it for granted - as something that exists in all companies. Many companies are focused on a stated plan and communication with their shareholders, often they are ones that are achieving success, or hopeful that the potential they have identified is within reach. But then there are the ones that fall down badly in these areas. Shareholders receive no meaningful updates on plans or activities, except for the mandated financial statements and MD&A reporting which is often a copy of the prior document, without even the consideration of removing irrelevant information or changing dates. Shareholders and potential investors wait months, maybe years, for information on plans that were announced often for the purpose of getting short term promotional coverage rather than making meaningful efforts to grow the company.  So when bashers pick at some normal business setback in LBE, consider the source. And put their negative efforts in perspective. The temporary setbacks they harp on result from doing something. The problem has been dealt with, and progress towards the goals is continuing. Compare that to certain other companies that have not provided current updates on their plans or activities, and are giving signals that are confusing to shareholders and seem to indicate confusion in management.

Anyone interested in seeing how desperate the bashers are, should check recent Agoracom posts. Tantallon has just misinterpreted an LBE bylaw change that's almost six months old. He's so obsessed with negativity, that he identified a governance action that is favourable to minority shareholders as some dark event that was "..a very clear shift in the control of the company"  And his lap dog EB Farnum tripped over himself in his rush to agree with tantallon's blunder. Nickel77 put these two bashers out of their misery again, and there's been no response from either one. Just another example of the lack of thought or judgement employed by these bashers - and their obsession to demean the company.

I doubt that we'll hear much more about the production activities before the mid November MD&A. I've put exploration activities in the back seat watching production getting ramped up. Will be interesting to learn the status of exploration at that time - if not before.
