chux,

you are reading way too much into any of this.  there is little volume right now...who cares about pennies one way or another.  How a stock trades while financing is pending/not closed means little.

Bids and asks are quite often automatically pulled at the end of the day....why, I don't know (automation?) but it happens all the time....my lowball bid on another stock became the top bid at the end of the day today....because the other bids disappeared at the close.
