Seems you know who these "pumpers" are? Since I do not seem to know these people - please enlighten me so i can be more careful.

Falttery will get you everywhere... (But it is only a fool who allows hime or her self to be swayed by flattery). However it is always nice to get a compliment when you have contributed something of use or interest to others. Perhaps you should try this tactic sometime?

Perhaps you already have? How would I (or anyone else) know - this is anonymous cyberspace after all? (And why would I change my name? Sometimes there is a benefit to being well known and (mostly) consistent.

Now that is a seeming puzzle. While there are some posters here on the Vast BB whose names I recognise - most are ones that I never came across before I became interested in Kurdistan players in general - and Vast in particular (with its sibling Longford) as it came closer to drilling. Please name the posters here that I am supposed to have known as I confess that other than a couple I have put on ignore - all the rest are pretty new to me?

That is entirely your perogative and if that is your belief I cannot do much to change it. But maybe you would like to meet up sometime and discuss such things in person? The offer is always open as long as its not Geographically impossible!

Again I learned long ago that there is nothing anyone can do when faced with a closed belief system. If you like to believe I own no shares here then again that is entirely your perogative. Not much I can do about "Opinions" or "Belief systems."

Really? Other than a gradual evolution in thinking as I have learned how naieve I may have been in the past - and have understood some things better through ongoing dialogue with others more gifted in economic understanding -
but the basic style and vocabulary have stayed very much the same. At least I haven't noticed much of a change since 2002/2003?

Offer is always on the table - if the answer is something you genuinely wish to find out. Otherwise if you are simply being specious and out to simply throw stones I cannot do much to change that. That ball is in your court. Many know who I am - and they treat my opinions accordingly - not that they make their investment decisions based on anything i might say (although some have) - but when certain specific things I can offer help them they pay attention.

But this is cyberspace - and anyone can pretend to be whatever they want here - but those who are interested in finding more usually do - and some have become good friends and I have learned much from them that has helped me. Its called Reciprocity - and its as old as biology - and its as good a place as any to begin.

I appreciate your comments urging caution - not so sure I really like the veiled attempt at character assassination quite so much. Ball is in your court... I'm not going anywhere and I shall keep my cyberhandle - it has some real historical and sentimental value as it is not one I chose for myself but a knickname I earned out in the field working with real Oil Men. (Of course when I screw up badly - which I can from time to time - the name does get twisted a little into something a bit more derogatory - but thats all part of life too!)

Just want to clear the air - for the record!
