A Sailor's ViewFolks,
I too am no longer happy with the present situation. The next few days are going to be very telling. I too have had it confirmed that a meeting was held on Friday. I am expecting more drilling. However I am no longer pleased with how things are being managed or operated. It is not OSK's fault, its OX. I'm very upset that I am on business travel and won't have the chance to meet Mark in person.
Many of you know I've been in this stock from 2008, and been very supportive of the new management that was brought in. I've brought in investors, and encouraged people for a long time to hold on. Carefully keeping in touch with management and trying to build a reasonable professional based communication with them. I've tried to be helpful by introducing Mark to people in Halifax and I've tried to support him publicly. However this company now needs to move from being a financial bet to becoming a real operating company. This means we need full time staff, geologists and people on the ground in Nova Scotia in both Goldboro and in Halifax. I hoped that Mark was going to become a real operational leader, he's done just the opposite. This deposit needs people in the local area running it with a vested interest in its success. For 20 years its been too easy for past management to draw a salary out of the large PP's raised, work remotely from Montreal and contract out the drilling and the geologists who do the real work.
Love or hate OSK, they at least had the staff and the drive to go for it on their own deposit.
I am now considering my options. I'm not getting involved in a war with management, its easier to sell and move on to something else. I'll take my cue from the next PR.
