why soc has not revealed land positionI am unsure as to why SOC has not revealed the exact location of the land package with respect to the CAN land and more importantly to the CAN discovery zone.
I can only think that when the property/option deal was completed in late July of this year, CAN"s discovery zone had not been fully defined. I don't think the discovery zone is fully defined as of today.
I am ASSUMING that as CAN made further news available to the public, and the value of CAN increased, the value of the SOC land also increased.
My assumption again is that SOC does not want to hurt CAN by revealing the coordinates. SOC's press releases have been professional, factual and non promotional.
One of the SOC releases stated that CAN was notified on July 30th, yet SOC has heard nothing back.
If this property was not located in a vital part of the discovery, I don't think the commissioner of mines would be calling a meeting.
I think this is great news for SOC (as i am a shareholder and holding on).
I think it will cost CAN a bundle - but it certainly won't kill the deal (CAN has a fabulous discovery, has strong shareholders, good analyst coverage and lots of cash in the treasury).
