RE: Hide and SeekNickel77,
It is something to see the complete lack of interest in this company on this forum. Trailorparkboy and rocksolid47 appear to have been added to the heap of former aliases used by the slowest learner of the cheerleaders. He didn't like discussing ISM issues for some time, now it seems bashing Liberty even brings up memories he would like to forget.
It's sure a far cry from the glory days when the pros, lead by sweatman, oldfellow, etc. would come up with some preposterous fantasy, and all the sheeple would join in with a chorus of cheers and high fives. Going back over the list of cheerleaders, you can likely gauge how well they did, or how badly they got burned, by relating it to when they showed up to promote this world class nickel deposit, and when they went into hiding. The pro's were here before the 2007 run-up, and became scarce not long after the Dundee flow through placement. Their job was done, and they moved on to other "projects". It is interesting to follow those of the pros that didn't change their aliases for new "projects". For instance, follow sweatman around and you find the same pattern with other companies, as his history with ISM. A very busy effort at hyping, followed by a disappointing share price slide (sometimes all the way to delisting and insolvency) - with sweatman becoming scarce when the promotion is falling apart, avoiding the necessity of answering to those that were taken in by his shill work. sweatman has left quite a trail of unhappy marks, many of whom have linked him to multiple aliases as well as his real life name.
Then there's the sheeple that were taken in by the fantasies of grandeur. You have to wonder about some of the early departures, like TxProInvestor, allbusiness, and others - were they pros, or were they investors? One thing for certain - when they quit, they left without a good-bye, and no admission that their stories of grandeur were unfounded. The other disillusioned cheerleaders that dropped off along the way can be graded in terms of how badly they were fooled by the hype. Some seemed to catch on fairly quickly, and cut their losses. Some rode it down into the teens and 20's, before they realized that they should have listened to the warnings of the hated critics. The last to catch on seems to have been aatozz/doingthe job and the rocksolid multi alias. They were still holding out hope during the 2010 price plunge. tonyg1973 may have been slow to realize - or his brief appearance was just to cover up his prior pump and dump activities. Check/spray was among the slowest learners - still chirping until recently. And the beerbelly4/5 chap from Kelowna was a bit slow on catching on - and so embarrassed at having been taken in, that he stooped to identity theft of your alias.
There's much to be learned on the potential downfalls of penny stock investing, in following the history of this company. And there's much to be learned from the cross section of contributors that have participated on this forum, that were involved with ISM, either as professional promoter, hopeful investor or critic. Some that were hurt, will have benefitted from the learning experience, and will not repeat the errors. Others have likely not learned to recognize some of the red flags, and may already have repeated their errors in another investment.
