management change

I must say I am surprised by Bill Burton's retirement.  You wonder how long this has been in the cards.  Is it at all connected with the Complant deal?  Was he assuming a deal was going to be done in August and had long planned to retire in Oct.  Is a deal imminent and he thinks it best to have Rich in place before the next phase?  Is a deal about to fall apart and he is jumping ship?  How many shares and options does he have and will he try to unload en masse?

Anyone have any opinions/insight?
