RE: More companies going for Ethopian potash ..HasG&B Central African Resources has owned the exploration license in the basin for the last 2 years. I believe that it might be the section of land to the far east of the basin as indicated on the revised Allana Website Map? There is very little information available on the company as it is private....until now. It has just created a vehicle to become a public company and trade on the TSX Venture Exchange through Panorama. They have not completed any drilling to date and are at a very early stage of development. There package of land may contain similar geology and potash to the western side of the basin where Allanas property lays...time will tell. If they do not complete some major drilling over the next year and the balance of their exploration license....they may end up in the same situation as Sainik and be under the gun with the Ethiopian Government...The Government wants their 30% taxes and now that Allana is moving closer to defining an N1-Compliant Report over the next few months...and completing a Feasibility Study to confirm the viability of a mine...the neighbours should rightfully be getting a little nervous as the government will soon have a company that has the goods to develop a mine and pay the ongoing taxes and expand their land base if the government revokes any non compliant exploration permits that currently exist in the basin... and why not? how many $800 million mines can the basin allow?
