However, they are currently updating their systems...

The problem is, a lot of people hold land titles in newfoundland that they keep in their cabinet drawers, hand written on napkins...

It is going to take time to fix this system.

If a dude had an outhouse on a piece of land 200 years ago, should 'first in right, first in title' still apply...

I know this isn't exactly relavent here, but it is an evident problem... and is being fixed.

Very related to lands that have been or are now being actively mined....

If you knew what you were doing, you could almost take advantage of a system like this... right Al?
