Frankly, the company just keeps hitting and hitting....and hitting. And the 267 zone is a totally new area not contemplated in the historic resource. Thus, each hit is adding tonnage to the resource and long widths and good grade. And, any Moneta shareholder has to have been happy with this comment in the press release:
"With a signature alteration halo that extends for over 250 metres, we believe the 267 Zone has the potential to develop into a very large gold zone."
Will be interesting to see if 269 zone follow-up hits something, also. And of course, the follow-up of 267 zone is the focal point.
Overall, I think the drilling is now demonstrating in fact what was always hoped for - there is substantial mineralization at depths and areas not previously explored.
Also, keep in mind, because there is so much to explore at these depths - and because the % success rate has been pretty impressive, I do believe it is only a matter time before a monster hole is drilled. Don't get me wrong, the results to date are excellent, but we are sniffing and sniffing closer to a monster.....
