RE: CIN - Spectrum - EMI "For Discussion Only"I too have been wondering about Spectrum's future plans. It is no secret that the US government needs large REE supply resources for the future. They are smart to keep it private for now as they are proving up an even larger world-class resource with each drill hole.
CIN's Carbo drill results could be phenomenal as well. I was wondering about surface soil sample comparisons between CIN's Carbo and Spectrum's Wicheeda samples prior to drilling. In 2009, Spectrum reported on Teck's soil samples from 1987: "The “Main Zone” soil anomaly as outlined by the 400 ppm cerium soil contour is 1km long and up to 500m wide within which the 5000 ppm contour is roughly 300m long and 200m wide. Peak values range up to 25,000 ppm cerium." CIN's soil sampling found similar indicators: " A reconnaissance program in 2009 by CIN included 17 rock, 43 silt and57 soil samples taken while geologically mapping and prospecting theCarbo claims. Analyses of soil samples included one exceeding thedetection limit of 10,000 ppm (greater than 1%) Cerium (Ce), and valuesup to 509 ppm Gadolinium (Gd), indicating the presence of HREEs." So Spectrum's high grade zone was dicovered by drilling the area where peak values of cerium were discovered i.e the 300m X 200m 5000ppm contour. CIN is presumably drilling where they also found greater than 10,000 ppm cerium. Should be interesting!
