CFO - Clifton Star Releases 70m of 1.94g/t - results appear to be improving

November 2, 2010

SUBJECT:CFO – Clifton Star Resources Releases 70m of 1.94g/t at Duparquet

SUMMARY: Clifton Star announced 35 drill hole results from the Beattie project. First pass the results look better than previous releases.

DETAILS:

·While there was only one 100+m intercept (132m at 1.21g/t which was also positive in that it was near surface) there were 4x 50+m intercepts with some grading as high at 2.05g/t over 49.3m – these are the types of results we need to see to have open pit potential

·The following are the 5 intercepts that caught our attention:

·Hole 267, 49.3m at 2.05g/t starting at 81.5m depth

·Hole 281, 132m at 0.94g/t starting at 8m depth

·Hole 282, 96m at 1.21g/t starting at 47m depth

·Hole 286, 73.5m at 1.7g/t starting at 72.5m depth

·Hole 302, 57m at 1.03g/t starting at 123.5m depth

·As a reminder no Donchester project results have yet been received.

·10 of the 35 holes did not return significant mineralization or hit underground workings – this is to be expected as drilling is testing both the margins of the porphyry mineralization and internal portions of the porphyry that are not mineralized.

·Further results should be expected in regular intervals.

·Drilling has been completed but CFO management expects a winter program to start before year end to access areas that require freeze up
