RE: News Releasesounds like the well is a bit of a water jerker for now. that doesnt have to be a bad thing. i mean water flow may help to increase oil production as well.
if that old well is maintaining 5 m3/d average oil per day thats decent. well has been producing for quite some time. so thats good news.
they might have to just produce the new well for a while at some higher rates and see what happens to the oil cut. it would have been nice to read about some numbers in that release. but the oil cut must not be that high. i wonder where they are taking the produced water too?
