Cost per ton to mine Orex has been speculated to be low cost open pit by geologists ,due to the high grade veins and near surface,close to power,roads and in an area of high unemployment.All ingredients for mining cheaply,granted there has been no prefeasibity or feasibilty study.No environmental issues....no houses to move or private land to purchase.Until a feasibility study is completed I agree that this is purely speculation.
I have heard that OSK on the other hand may have some issues with profitabilty,especially if gold ever drops back near $1000 per ounce.That will be known soon enough once they are up and running.
